pack up your troubles in your old kit bag and smile

a little bit more of Cat Empire...... that's what Linda told me, the name of the band that was perfoming a 'kick ass' gig! i don't know, i'm getting nervous and now, slowly packing my stuff as i wonder off to do something else, like writing this on my computer. saw this other band just the last weekend infront of cineleisure orchard. some really jagged edge sound. i like the rawness of it and somewhere along the bass line, i heard (the reflex bass line from johnny taylor). funny, i was humming the bass line while taking shots of the band. i like this one cause i think the guy who was on vocals really made them look like a band! scoot off to the other side of orchard and to the youth park. i was close to tears when i saw the dance competition. not that they were bad, but they were good!!!!! i can imagine the hours they put into their steps and all that. they don't even look ameturish....!!!!!! i was busy getting into the groove and forgot to take shots! i like the last group's performance in all black!

i'm still wondering off from packing my stuffs and it's almost midnight. oh yes, YunNie is seen here reading the morning papers and sipping tea at the balcony. write to us sometimes when you're home YunNie!

when a bright morning suddenly came pouring down on me

went to mark's & naoko's place in the morning and took some shots yesterday. the sun was good and so there was good lighting for the house. was there pretty early and decided to walk around here and there and found a coffee shop and rest. since i got alot of time to kill, i had a prata breakfast. saw this old chinese man selling coconuts and bought 2 and thought it would be a good prop for those two at home.

had a little conversation with them and left their home just to wonder off around the area. i actually found this intresting shop. toy shop.... shanghai toy shop. nicely set up and painfully alot of time cause by the looks of the toys that were there, those were definitely collections through the years. old school toys.

this picture was taken just outside the shop. yes, it was raining quite abit and i waited and waited. intrestingly, there were some girls there who were, i guess very hospitable. somehow, i felt that something was fishy. no, not sashimi fishy, but something really not rite. so i said i'm just waiting for the rain to stop and would be on my way once the rain sortta mellow down.

allo, we all love shushi.... jap food is the most pop export world wide. other than their cars, japanese takes everything seriously.

this is for all the coffee addicts i know. isn't this cool!!!! but then again, this fella was just distributing coffee samples to passerby's. see, they have made it very comfortable for the fella who's carrying it... padded strap and all! cool bag pack or should i call it, coffee pack.
this is a very cool performance by the bay. i couldn't catch whats the name of the band but they can really kick ass! cool show and very good musicianship. the chemistry of the evening was certainly on their side...... could spot alot girls hypmotised by the performance. it was like some kind of trance that they put on the girls. but seriously, it was a VERY good show!!!!!!!

something that i have missed alot doing is dj-ing. yea, time is always my reason but once i'm behind my decks, i don't know how to describe the feeling but i guess by showing the 'big black cox' u might understand.
